EDUCATION

Arinaitwe earned his Bachelors in Business administration from Makerere University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Mass communication from University of Leicester, UK and MSc Marketing from Salford University/Robert Kennedy College, Zurich, Switzerland. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Journalism and Communication at Makerere University.

Is a Ugandan author, journalist and media entrepreneur.

He is the founder and editor-in-chief of ResearchFinds News and co-founder of Red Pepper (newspaper) founded on 19 June 2001, Uganda’s first English tabloid newspaper. He is also the founder of e2 Young Engineers Uganda.Arinaitwe has held various positions such as a cab reporter, bureau chief, managing editor, and digital media editor at renowned publications like Daily Monitor and Red Pepper (newspaper). He was awarded with the Crans Montana Future Leaders’ Award in 2013 at “new leader of the future 2013” in Switzerland. He was also awarded with the African Young Social and Development Entrepreneur Pap Award 2017.

Career

Arinaitwe began his profession as a cab reporter at Daily Monitor before assuming the role as founder and bureau chief at Red Pepper (newspaper) June 2021.

June 2019

 He founded ResearchFinds News which specializes in research work, news coverage, policy briefs, report writing, academic symposia, and research training and currently serves as the Founder and Editor-in-Chief.

2016

He founded e2 Young Engineers Uganda in 2016 and serves as its managing director, aiming to provide STEM education for children aged 4 to 15.

In 2021, Arinaitwe was appointed Jada Coffee Board Chairman.He is currently the Uganda Premier League(UPL) Board chairman deputized by David Serebe and Chairman of the FUFA Super League (FSL).
