Arua, Uganda – The Ministry of Health in Uganda is embarking on a significant healthcare infrastructure project aimed at enhancing critical care services in the region.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held on August 15, 2023, to mark the official handover of a site where a state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit (ICU) will be constructed at Arua Regional Referral Hospital.
This ambitious project is being made possible through funding from the World Bank in collaboration with the Government of Uganda under the Uganda Covid-19 Response and Emergency Preparedness Project (UCREPP).

According to the Ministry of Health, the ICU will be constructed by Haso Engineers Limited, a reputable construction company known for delivering high-quality projects.
The project will be closely supervised by Arch Design Ltd., ensuring that the ICU meets the highest standards in terms of construction, safety, and functionality.
